Alborz province has many natural talents and water resources. A valuable archaeological site is visible at the edge of this vast plain and on the edge of ancient communication routes. Tang Gassil and Shahrastanak historical castles and monuments of Islamic era such as Meydanak Tower of Mongol, Karaj Bridge and Shah Abbasi Caravanserai of Karaj, Pearl Palace are among the attractions.

BARAGHAN

Kordan is a beautiful area on the way to Karaj, Kordan has boosted its tourism industry, so that in spring and summer many nature lovers will travel to the village of Barghan and Kordan to enjoy the cool air and beautiful nature of this area.
The best time to travel to Baraghan is from April to mid-autumn;

Pearl Palace

Pearl Palace is the name of a Pahlavi-era monument located in Mehrshahr of Karaj. The palace is like an Eagle ray fish with a pearl in the middle of it and its architecture is fabulous .Shams Palace is listed in the National Archives of Iran.

Yakh-Morad cave

The Yakh-Maurad cave is about 2640 meters high and its span is three meters wide and eight meters high. In the months of March and April, the most beautiful cave candlesticks are in the best condition.

Seven Springs Waterfalls (haft-cheshmeh waterfalls)

Haft-Cheshmeh is one of Alborz province’s waterfalls, located 17 km from Karaj-Chalous Road, near the village of Arangeh and upstream of the Arangeh’s River. It is one of the largest waterfalls in the country
Along the way, there are small waterfalls that reach a height of 5 meters and are called “Seven Springs”. The best season for traveling to this waterfall is summer.
Along the waterfall route, you can visit the extraordinary natural caves in the area

Dizin

 Dizin is one of the largest Iranian ski resorts in the Alborz mountain range, near Tehran and also the city of Karaj. It was established in 1969
Dizin is the first ski and winter sports resort in Iran which has been officially recognized and granted the title by the International Ski Federation for its capability in administrating official and international competitions.

Girl Bridge (Sulaimaniya Bridge)

Karaj Bridge, also called Sulaimaniyah Bridge and Shah Abbasi Bridge, is located in the western part of the city of Karaj and is referred to as a monument. Karaj Girl Bridge, is one of the Safavie era structures. It is built on the Karaj-Chalus River and at the entrance of Karaj. This bridge purpose was to make it easier to cross the river for tourists and visitors.

Amir Kabir Dam Lake (Karaj Dam)

The dam was the first multi-purpose dam in Iran known as a recreational and sports area. The splendor of the water, the beautiful nature, the excellent weather and the unmatched landscape of this dam and lake is something magical. There are rich fruit gardens and lush vegetation around the lake and Amir Kabir dam.
